About two weeks before the wedding, the prospective bride (not the groom), calls our store and asks if everyone in the wedding party has come into the store to be measured for their tuxedo. Invariably, cousin Jimmy never stopped by. Then the panic sets in. Cousin Jimmy has to be tracked down and told to get to the tux shop. Then there is a follow-up call to Jimmy. Here's how it works. The prospective bride and groom come to the showroom and choose the styles for everyone in the bridal party. They then make arrangements with one of our sales staff for the in home fitting date. The fitting day is usually two to three months before the wedding date.

Formal Expresssions will come to your home with all the sizes in the tuxedo styles you have chosen. Whether we will be fitting a two year old rigbearer or a father of the bride who wears a 54 extra long, they will be fitted that evening with the actual coat they will be wearing on the day of the wedding. And it doesn't stop at the tuxedo jacket. In order to guarantee the best fit after the tuxedos are delivered, everything gets fitted to perfection right down to the shoes, shirts, vests and pants. No one in the business provides such a comprehensive service.

Once the party is measured, our experienced production staff will tailor, clean and press your tuxedos to perfection. Then 2 days before the wedding, they will be delivered to a location designated by you for pickup by the bridal party. This provides an opportunity to make any necessary adjustments ensuring that there will be no last minute surprises. If any adjustments are necessary, a simple phone call to our sales staff and arrangements will be made to correct and/or deliver new garments.
Formal Expressions will also pickup the tuxedos on the Monday after the wedding. ALL AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
